Abram Dunbar is the owner and operator of Visions At Home Physical Therapy. Abram has been a physical therapist for over 25 years and has extensive geriatric and orthopedic experience. He received his physical therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center located in Jackson Mississippi and is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Louisiana.  Over the course of his career he has had the opportunity to work in nursing homes, outpatient clinics and home health settings. Having practiced in the home health setting for most of his career, Abram realizes that the key to seniors staying independent with their household and community activities is through timely remediation of pain, weakness and balance problems using physical therapy interventions in the home setting. Patients challenged by physical therapy in their homes have better outcomes because training models can be tailored to match the patient’s home environment. Abram’s vision is to decrease hospitalization rates and keep patients independent at their homes where they deserve and want to be. It is his mission to keep patients active and doing the things they enjoy most for a lifetime!
